Is certified in accordance with STIPEL NEN3140 and NEN3840 IV/WV and COMPEX.
Battery technology is a rapidly changing technology, and now that more and more ships are electrically powered, it is important to closely monitor the health of your batteries. van der Burg- Maritiem has years of experience with battery packs in the offshore industry, where work is carried out according to the highest standards, and offers you the following options:

Impedance test: Impedance, internal resistance, voltage, and ripple voltage are measured with a special meter.
Your batteries are not fully discharged here, so the impedance test does not provide an indication of your cell capacity. However, this is a quick and less costly way to get an idea of the health of your batteries.
Discharge test: The functional capacity of your set is measured by fully discharging it under a constant current. This allows for the precise calculation of the remaining capacity percentage of your battery set. During the discharge process, the impedance is also measured periodically, providing an exact per-cell picture of the battery pack. You will receive a comprehensive report and advice, enabling you to perform targeted maintenance on your battery pack, ensuring it lasts for years longer and saving costs in the long run.
